I have been dedicated to the world of emeralds for 15 years, a passion that runs in my blood. I was born into a family deeply connected to this precious stone, a symbol of beauty, tradition, and cultural richness.
My bond with emeralds began in childhood, growing up surrounded by family stories, expert hands, and a deep respect for every gem extracted from the earth. One of my uncles is the owner of a mine in Muzo, Boyacá — one of the most emblematic regions in Colombia for emerald production — and has been a key figure in my formation.
Thanks to him and my family’s legacy, I have been able not only to learn about the quality, cutting, and valuation of emeralds, but also to understand the soul behind each stone: its story, its origin, and its meaning.
